Here's an overview.ĮA released Battlefield Play4Free which is a free online BF2 clone with some tweaks. Never do you hear someone proclaiming loyalty to a Facebook game too strongly. The appeal of Facebook games aren't the brands, it's the ability to hop on, enjoy it for a little, before going else where. That's when I left, and I suspect that's when everyone started leaving. It really became more stressful than it was worth. I remember me and a friend nearly pulled our hairs out trying to figure out how to get the pool done because there were so many steps, so many processes, and so many times you'd get stuck on a part of it because of 1 item that didn't appear no matter how many times you interacted with something. Problem was? It became much less of a game, and a bait to spend money.ĮA's formula for these games were, "oh sure, you can get these cool items.but you need to be a slave for it, or you can spend some premium cash!" and it was just nuts. Hell, I even rediscovered a few friends while doing so. So that was kind of nice, I didn't need to give it that much attention. Like listening/dancing to music to gain music notes. There was limited ability times, and there were a lot of things that required you to do things repeatedly to gain item. It was just taking up a bit of my time that I thought I'd invest into other games, so I thought, hey, why not try something a little less time consuming? Sims Social seemed almost perfect for this. I'm a huge fan of Sims, but I really couldn't bring myself to keep playing it (Sims 3). I'll share my experience with these games a little, and why there was a suddenly drop in player count.
